Driving Tip from our Driving School Instructors

Before your G1 or G2 road test, familiarize yourself with the area you will be taking your test. Make note of speed limits and street signs. You never want to get caught off guard when on your driving test.

    Advance Driving Program

At Ultimate Drivers we like to ensure that our students get the best quality road training during their driving sessions. Their safety on the road is of utmost importance to us. We offer Advance Driving Program along with the standard BDE Course. The package will involve 5 full hours of in vehicle instruction that will cover the following maneuvers:

    1. Shoulder Drop off

Student will learn how to recover and control vehicle if it drifts or drops onto a gravel shoulder.

    2. Head-On Collision Avoidance

If you are driving in one two-lane roadway, two cars, a third car passing from the opposite side starts to drift in your lane you got yourself a head-on collision. We teach students how to control and get out of the way in this situation

    3. Rear-End Collision Avoidance

Whiplash can leave anyone with pain and suffering for the rest of their life.. Damage to the vehicles could be minimal, but the unnatural motion of your head being forced backward and then snapping forward can do severe damage to the muscles of the neck and back. We teach you how to control the situation.

    4. Emergency Escape Route

Watching other drivers on the road is essential to good driving skills. In this we effectively teach students to look properly and to prepare for their drive ahead.

    5. Emergency Stopping and the best Advantage of ABS Brakes

ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) works differently in emergency stopping. In this students learn to use ABS effectively when needed. It was designed to help the driver maintain some steering ability and avoid skidding while braking.

    6. Brake and Avoid (Threshold Braking)

Threshold braking should bring you to a reasonably quick controlled stop in your own lane, even in slippery conditions. This technique is generally practised in a vehicle that is not equipped with ABS. This benefits students who drive older model cars.
