Some DriveTest centers offer a Standby List option for those willing to take a chance on last-minute cancellations. By placing your name on the Standby List, you may be called in for a road test if someone cancels or fails to show up. Make sure to be available and ready to go on short notice if you choose to use this option.

If all conventional strategies have been exhausted without success in securing an earlier G2 or G road test appointment, don't despair. As a final option, consider using aggregator services. These platforms operate by regularly scanning the DriveTest website for cancellations or holding artificially booked slots until requested.

If you are willing to travel a bit further, consider booking your road test at alternative locations. Some DriveTest centers have less demand than others, meaning you may have better chances of securing an earlier appointment. Explore nearby cities or towns to see if they have any available slots. Just make sure the location is convenient for you and that you are familiar with the local roads and traffic conditions.
